C3ongratulations on your engagement! And thank you so much for checking out Staci Cakes for your wedding cake. Whether you are interested in something simple or extravagant, I can't wait to make something uniquely YOU.
Please Note: I do ask that all cake served would be purchased from Staci Cakes. If you are serving ice cream or desserts that I do not offer, you may purchase them elsewhere. But I respectfully ask that you would commit to purchasing all cake desserts (cakes, sheet cakes, cupcakes, cake pops) from Staci Cakes so that my brand (both flavor and design) wouldn't be mistaken for somebody else. Thank you so much for your understanding and cooperation!
Questions you may have for me . . .
How far in advance can I reserve my wedding date? I will hold your wedding date up to a year in advance with a $100 paid deposit.
Do you offer tastings? Yes. You may purchase a cupcake box of 6 ($25) or 12 ($50) with a variety of flavors of your choosing (based on the flavors I have on hand).
What forms of payment do you accept? I accept Venmo (@Staci-Aberle-1), a check (Staci Aberle) or cash.
What will my total be and when is the balance due? You can see my estimated prices here. I will figure out the final price after the wedding cake is put together and I know all time and materials used. The balance of your order will be due upon completion.
Is there an order minimum we must meet? No.
Do you deliver? Yes. Delivery is optional if you have
up to a 2 tier cake. Delivery is required for any cake
that is 3 or more tiers. I have an insulated cake carrier
that will keep the cake cool while traveling so it is the
safest option for tiered cakes. Delivery is also a great
option if you have flowers from your florist that you'd
like me to add to the cake at the venue. Then the cake
flowers will match the rest of your flowers perfectly!
How much is delivery? Delivery starts at $100 but
may increase based on mileage and time at the venue.
Can I pick up my cake and how should I transport it? If you have a 2 tier cake or smaller, then yes, you may pick up. The safest place to transport a cake or cupcakes is on the floor of the car, where it is stable and flat, with the air conditioning as cold as it will go.
Have you decided on Staci Cakes? Let's nail down your order!
C3ake questions I will have for you . . .
1. What size and flavor would you like? I have regular sizes or a new "mid" size that is a bit taller if you want more of a pop. You can choose a regular flavor (vanilla, chocolate, or funfetti) or an allergy-friendly or specialty flavor.
mid 4" / 6" / 8"
regular 6" / 8"
2. What design do you love? Pictures are helpful. Things to consider: do you like a smooth frosting finish or something textured? Do you like edible pearls, gold flakes, painted buttercream, fresh flowers, faux flowers, dried naturals, ribbons? The sky is the limit! This is YOUR day... I want your cake to be uniquely you.
3. Would you like a topper with any particular words or initials on the cake? Would you like it to be made of wood or acrylic (gold, silver, white, or any color)? Is there a specific font you'd like me to use?
The cake will need to stay in a fridge until the reception begins to keep it nice and sturdy. If I am delivering, I will do my best to deliver right before the guests arrive so that it won't need a fridge and can set out.
C1ake Storage:
Sheet C3akes or C3upcakes?
1. How many guests will you be serving? If you are serving cupcakes, I suggest 1.25-1.50 cupcakes per guest if you have various flavor options and no other desserts. If you are serving sheet cakes, my sizes and servings can be found here.
2. What flavors would you like? Classic vanilla and chocolate? Or would you like to add in allergy-friendly or specialty flavors? Purchasing a tasting box (or two!) is helpful to narrow down your favorites.
Sheet Cakes and Cupcakes should set out on a counter, not in direct sunlight. The ONLY time I recommend storing them in a fridge is when they have a fruit filling/ frosting or cream cheese frosting.
Storage:
3. For cupcakes, would you like a basic frosting design or an intricate frosting design?
intricate design.
basic rosette.
basic swirl.
For sheet cakes, I can make them as simple or fancy as you'd like.
C3ake P1op questions I will have for you...
1. How many cake pops would you like and what flavor? They are a great option for kids and adults alike and would be a delicious wedding favor. Available in vanilla and chocolate only.
2. How would you like them decorated? I can dip them in white chocolate for a classic wedding look, and finish with shimmery sprinkles or a white chocolate drizzle. I can use any color scheme you'd like to make them uniquely yours.
3. How would you like them packaged? Individually wrapped or placed directly into a carrier/display box?
Cake pops should set out on a counter, not in direct sunlight. The fridge can make the chocolate crack.
